About

An applied AI studio built by an operator.

ApexAxiom is an applied AI studio for operations, procurement, supply chain, and enterprise workflows. Founder-led, operator-built, and measured by outcomes — with our own shipped ventures as proof that we build, not just advise.

Who builds this

Built by an operator, not an observer.

Roeland Westra has spent more than two decades inside supply chain and procurement — category management, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, and global logistics, much of it in Fortune 500-scale energy operations. ApexAxiom exists because the most useful AI systems are built by people who deeply understand the work. He builds agents for workflows he has run himself.

Most AI projects start with the technology and go looking for a problem. We start with the hours your team is losing — and only build what gives them back.

Deliberately focused

One lane, done properly.

We are deliberately not a broad AI agency. Our center of gravity is operational work: procurement and supply chain, document-heavy and research-heavy workflows, and the internal tools that remove repetitive labor. Adjacent lanes — legal operations, corporate services, vendor intelligence, market research, reporting — get the same treatment when the workflow fits.

How we think

Six principles we do not bend.

01

Operators first

We build for work we understand from the inside. Domain depth beats demo polish.

02

Build, don’t decorate

Working systems over strategy decks. Evidence over opinion.

03

Narrow beats general

One workflow, one agent, done properly — then the next. Breadth comes from compounding, not ambition.

04

Measured or it didn’t happen

Time per task, volume, review cost. If we cannot measure it, we do not claim it.

05

Humans decide

AI prepares the work; your experts make the calls. That line is architectural, not aspirational.

06

No hype

We will tell you when AI is the wrong tool. That honesty is why the right builds get trusted.

Start with one workflow

Send us the process that is costing your team time.

Describe one workflow — what goes in, what comes out, who touches it, and how long it takes. We will tell you honestly whether AI is the right tool, and what a first build would look like.
